Henry Ford Hospital bariatric surgeons, Dr. Jeffrey Genaw and Dr. Arthur Carlin have performed more than 1,000 bariatric surgeries with a mortality rate of 0.2 percent with 96 percent of surgeries being done laparoscopically. This includes Roux-en-Y gastric surgeries, both open and laparoscopic, as well as laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding surgery.

The procedures I perform are Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, vertical sleeve gastrectomy, and LAP-BAND. I also do revisional surgery and the StomaphyX procedure.
